There is this thing now that if you buy a red think, some of the money goes to HIV/AIDS research in Africa. The guy that started this was a guy from U2.They made red apple ipods and red cell phones.

I think that is a good thing to do because now there will be more researches and maybe they will be able to find a cure.They have some neat things that they made in red. It’s also a good thing to do because there are so many people in the world with HIV/AIDS, and they don’t even have a cure for it. And also lots of people like the colour red and there isn’t lots of red things made. So now you can get lots of red things.

Some people can think of these things but lots of people can’t. Its kind of funny about how lots of people do these things and its like they poor at first then they think of these weird things and they can become like the richest people in the world.

A couple weeks ago we started a blog lines account. That is the PLN. What it is, is like a blog but this one you subscribe to things and you get what they write. Then you can go read them.

We have to do this post on one thing that we learnt and tell about some of it. I am going to talk about the Nata Village because its a place where there are lots of people with HIV/AIDS and infections. I think its not fair that just a little town gets a whole bunch of infections and HIV/AIDS and it pretty much comes out of no where.There is like 5000 people dieing a day. Soon everyone is going to have things like from what has been happening in the world in the last couple years. Its very sad because more and more things are happening and they just get worse like hurricanes, tidal waves and the war that’s going on right now. To many people are dieing and that is sad.

But just ask yourself, why are things like this happening?

This is almost the end of our project. We have learnt lots over the last 2 weeks and soon we are going to have a test on it. It’s been a great thing to learn because now you no what the difference is from like the 1100’s and the 2000’s. I think it’s a really good think to learn because there are lots of things to know about it. Lots of people think, why do we have to learn this stuff? Well I said that to until I actually found out some pretty neat things. If you say that then study it, it will actually be pretty fun. I think that the funniest thing about social studies is to learn about the past because you can learn what they wore for clothing, what they ate, how they made it and many other things. It’s very interesting and I had a great time doing my project.

We have been doing Social Studies for a couple weeks and we get to pick a topic. We would have to go to our teacher site and tell him what we are doing and then we would have to do research. I picked clothing and I found out that they used to make coats out of cats. I also found out what the peasants wore, medieval, women, Kings and Queens.

I picked clothing. Then I am writing an essay and making a poster of some of the clothing and putting a description underneath them. You can learn many things about anything from the middle ages. You can learn things like what they used for armor, what they ate, what they wore and many other things.

You can also go to www.mapsofwar.com it shows in layers of the wars and who took over what. If you go to it, it will have a white box and something will be loading on it. Then it will say play. It’s really neat.

We are almost done our photos. Today I just finished writing all my descriptions and downloaded my pictures. Our class has lots of cool pictures. If you notice there all lots of pictures just focusing on one colour and some on lines. You can look at them and think of many different pictures.

A picture can show lines, colours, shapes and many other things. I had lots of fun doing this but I also wanted to not take pictures for at least one night but I don’t care anymore its over and it was fun.

You should go out and take pictures. But only focus on one thing. They look really neat. So go check out our class’s flickr site. Not all of the pictures are downloaded but there are lots in there.

What do you think a picture should focus on?

This week we are just about to be finished our photography. It has been really fun.

We had to pick something to do and at first I picked fear. Then I realized I could find that much stuff about it so I switched to nature because that is all around us and I got 14 pictures in 2 nights. When I had fear I didn’t know what to take pictures of. I was coming to school everyday with like 2 or 4 pictures on it and if I kept doing that I wouldn’t have been able to finish in time. Now I am happy that I picked nature because all I have to do it write something about it and make up names for them.

After we started doing photography, I thought that it is a really good thing to teach in school because if someone wants to be a photographer this is a good time to start to learn how to take good pictures and edit them. Now here is a start for someone who wants to be one if they are doing this is school.

What do you think a good picture is?

If a good picture is taken it usually should be of something people don’t usually see. If someone got a picture of shoes, that is a bad picture because people all over the world see them and wear them everyday. A good picture could be of something like the northern lights, the deserts, things in space, wild animals or something underwater.

Example, this is a good picture because people don’t usually see things like that like people from where I live. Lots of us don’t go to the sea or go near it.

This one is a bad one because we see them pretty much everyday but sometimes they look cool but if its just a plain picture of clouds then what is there to see.

What do you think good and bad pictures look like?

Today we got digital cameras and we have to take pictures. I think its going to be fun.

We have 17 people in our class go i got to work alone and i got a good camera. It took me a while to figure out how to display the pictures but i finally figured out how to. So far I took like 6 pictures on my way home from school. I have a good idea to take a picture of but i have to go get it first.

Its going to be fun becase i like doing this kind of stuff. I really like to draw ad colour so I think I am going to do good.
