Homogeneous, Heterogeneous, Solutions, Mechanical Mixtures, Saturated and Unsaturated!

In school we are learning about heterogeneous mixtures, homogeneous mixtures, solutions and mechanical mixtures. Our assignment is to write what they are, give examples and get pictures of them. 

Homogeneous mixtures are also a solution. Homogeneous is when you look at something and you can’t tell the difference between the components.

Some examples are: Salt, Sugar, Flour, Coco, Milk, jell-o mix, drink mixtures and many more.

Heterogeneous mixtures are also a mechanical mixture. Heterogeneous is when you look at something and you can see the difference between the components.

Some examples are: Coffee, Seasoning Salt, Pepper, Sand, Bird Seeds, Trail Mix and many more.

Saturated is something that can be dissolved and is a dry powder.

Examples: Grape Juice Powder, Jell-o mix, Cake Mix, and many more.

Unsaturated is the powder dissolving in the liquid.

Examples: Grape Juice in Water, Jell-o Mix in Water, Cake Mix in Water, Coffee in hot Water, and many other things.
