Hey!

I haven’t wrote in so long… well now you get a educational post to read.

In class we been helping grade 5’s blog and they want us to help them. They asked us questions about blogging and they want us to answer them. We have to pick 4 questions out of 25 and we have to answer them for them.

The first question I picked to answer was…

1.What are some tips on how to proofread on a blog?

-Copy and paste it into word. It will show you the things that need to be corrected.

-Read it over again.

-Make some changes/add more things.

-Try and think of things that will make it more interesting.

-Try and organize it in different groups.

-Make paragraphs.

-Use punctuation properly.

-Take some things away that don’t make sense.

-Make spaces so people can actually read the words.

-TRY YOUR BEST!

When I write a post I usually write it in Word first before I put it in my learnerblogs so it shows all the mistakes and so I can fix it. Then I re-read it and take things out and add more things in if it don’t make sense. All you have to do is make sure you read it carefully and read it over maybe 2 times.

2. What is your favourite or the most interesting thing you like about blogging?

Well my favourtie thing about blogging is writing. I like writing but I’m not really good at making up stories or anything like that. But on here you can just say what ever you want like you can write stories(if you want), tell about school, what you did on holidays and much more. But when you are doing something else you kind of drift away from posting all the time. I also like how you can comment on other people’s blogs and say what you want. It’s your opinion.

3. What makes you want to comment to a blog?

Things that make me want to comment are good things and things that you will be able to write about. And it also depends on if you feel like typing or not. If you don’t want to type, go back another day and write a comment. Also if you know something about what they wrote, say it. Other people can learn things off of you too. Even though your younger, doesn’t mean that people that are in older grades or out of school, doesn’t mean that they know the same things as you. No one knows everything!

And the last question…

4. What have you learned in blogging?

I have learned lots in blogging. Blogging is a good experience for people our age because we get to learn more from other blogs. Also from the comments people leave. There are many different things to know about blogging, but you don’t have to know all. You ust need to know the basics. You will learn more and more as you blog more and more.

Try your best, and learn more! :)

Ashley.
