The Inconvenient Truth is a movie about global warming. It tells about all the things that can happen in the next 50-70 years. The things that can happen are: the ice caps will melt, the ocean/seas will rise 20 feet and lots will go under water. Then the Earth will get really hot because it doesn’t have anything to reflect the suns rays and back out. But when the suns rays do hit the ice caps, it melts them and warms up the water. But it also causes them to go back out.

There have been so many things happening and they are getting really bad. The last 14 years have been the hottest and so far the hottest year of at was 2005. The heat will be going up and up.

They showed how if you have a pot of boiling water and a frog jumps in, it will jump right back out. If you have a pot that started of with a little cold and a little warm and you start to turn the heat up, it will stay in because its getting used to the water and it doesn’t know that the heat is changing. That is what humans are like.

From all the greenhouse gasses, they have almost doubled the amount of hurricanes in the last 30 years. They have been getting stronger and worse. They are soon almost going to be tripled and then there will be so many, there will be all the people in just one country and be overcrowded. And more and more people have been getting killed from it.

The atmosphere has been thickening from the greenhouse gasses and when the suns rays come in, they get trapped in and don’t get let out. That is how our Earth has been heating up and making things worse.

At the end of the movie it tells a site that you can go to, to make less pollution and change the world. It also tells you about things like the movie, all the science that was worked on it, how u can use less pollution, news and blogs. It is a great movie so all of people should watch it. It will help our world and cause fewer things to happen.
