Environmental ABC
This week we have been doing environmental abc books. We would have to find an environmental issue for each letter. Like for a I could have acid rain. For z I could have zoo caging. This is a good idea because it can help you learn more about the environmental issues and it can tell you what there is and what there can be. But when I was doing research, I found many things I didn’t no about. Like kinetic energy and xenobiotic. Kinetic energy-is the energy possessed by a body because of its motion, equal to one half the mass of the body times the square of its speed. Xenobiotic-is the body or to living organisms. Used of chemical compounds. So now I got words for k and x. I just don’t have one for j. I also found out during some of the research, that now they use toxic waste for fertilizer. Its just killing it not making it grow. Manufacturing industries are disposing of hazardous wastes by turning them into fertilizers to spread around farms. And they are doing it legally. The new fertilizer is killing all the crops. I also found out that acid rain is acid that falls out of the atmosphere and it can kill someone if they drink it. I never new that. You never know what your going to find out when you do something like this.
